18 Shortlisted from Over 5,300 Applicants for Ram Temple CEO Post

Interviews begin in Ayodhya as trust moves to strengthen temple administration. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has shortlisted 18 candidates from more than 5,300 applicants for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Interviews of the shortlisted candidates are scheduled to begin today and continue on Wednesday at the temple premises. The selection panel comprises former judge Pramod Kohli, Lieutenant General (Retd) Vishnukant Chaturvedi and Suresh Haware, former chairman of the Shirdi Sai Baba Trust. The new CEO will oversee the temple’s overall administration, including daily operations, staff management, financial and administrative affairs, and coordination with government authorities. According to the eligibility criteria, candidates must be Hindu, graduates and aged between 50 and 70 years, with at least 20 years of experience in administration or finance. Experience in temple management is expected to be an advantage. The selected candidate will initially serve a three-year term and is expected to reside in Ayodhya. The appointment comes amid an ongoing investigation into alleged irregularities in the management of temple donations, with authorities seeking stronger administrative and financial oversight.
