Taking forward Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s inspiring ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign, Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi participated in a tree plantation programme at Sadadvel in Songadh taluka of Tapi district. The programme focused on honouring the motherly spirit while strengthening the message of environmental conservation and people’s participation in building a greener Gujarat. In the presence of local citizens, Sanghavi planted trees as a tribute to mothers and reaffirmed the collective resolve towards protecting nature and expanding Gujarat’s green cover. Cabinet Minister Nareshbhai Patel, Minister of State Jayrambhai Gamit and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion. The event highlighted the importance of community participation in environmental protection and encouraged citizens to contribute actively towards creating a cleaner, greener and more sustainable Gujarat.
