BAOU Regional Centre to Strengthen Higher Education in North Gujarat

The centre will advance the vision of ‘Education for All’ by making higher education more accessible, inclusive and quality-oriented for students across North Gujarat.

Education Minister Dr Pradyuman Vaja presided over the foundation-laying ceremony for the regional centre of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (BAOU), Ahmedabad, in Palanpur. Inspired by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar’s belief in education as a powerful tool for social transformation, the initiative aims to ensure that no student is deprived of educational opportunities. District Panchayat President Vasantbhai Purohit, Collector Mihirbhai Patel, MLA Aniketbhai Thakar, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr Amiben Upadhyay, Acting Registrar Dr Bhavin Trivedi and other dignitaries attended the ceremony.
